Can you handle a British-style running order? +
Yes. Ian has hosted hundreds of British weddings and knows the flow your guests expect — welcome drinks, a proper speeches-and-toast sequence before the meal winds down, first dance cued cleanly into the opening DJ set. Nothing rushed, nothing forced.
We don't want it to feel like a package — can the day feel personal? +
That's the whole point. Ian builds the run-sheet around your couple, your guest list and your venue. Because he's singer, DJ and host in one, you're not stitching three suppliers together — the tone stays consistent from the first tune of the day to the last.
What does the DJ setup actually look like? +
Clean, professional, photographs well. A proper booth, good lighting and a vocal mic — not a pub rig and not an overblown club install. If you want a brighter, higher-production look for a London/Essex-style evening, Ian will bring the kit to match. If you'd rather a lower-key setup so the room does the work, that's fine too — talk it through on the call.
Will you play the music we actually want? +
Always. Ian reads the room rather than running a locked setlist. That means chart hits and crowd anthems, first-dance cover, requests from the floor, and the anthem run at the end of the night that always lands. Send a playlist if you have one; send a do-not-play list if it's easier.
How far in advance should we book? +
Summer Saturdays (May–September) book up 12–18 months ahead. April, October and weekday dates can sometimes be held later. Lock your venue first, then get in touch — Ian will hold the date while you finalise.
