What does Ian actually do at a wedding? +
Ian covers the full day end-to-end: ceremony sound and live or curated vocals, a live cocktail-hour set, MC duties through the meal and speeches, and the evening DJ reception. One booking, one sound rig, one person reading the room — instead of three separate suppliers to manage.
Where is Ian based and how far does he travel? +
Ian lives in Marbella and works across the full Costa del Sol, Andalusia and the rest of Spain. He's available for destination weddings further afield in Europe by arrangement — most international couples flying in choose a Costa del Sol venue.
How do I check availability and book? +
Send an enquiry through the contact form, WhatsApp +34 613 44 23 73, or email ianprestonlive@gmail.com. Ian responds personally — usually the same day. A deposit holds your date; the balance is settled closer to the event.
How far in advance should we book? +
Summer Saturdays (May–September) typically book 12–18 months ahead. Shoulder dates (April, October) and weekday weddings can sometimes be booked closer to the date. As soon as your venue is locked, get in touch.
What kind of music does Ian play? +
Ian reads the room rather than running a fixed setlist. Expect a sweep across pop, rock, soul, disco and house — chart hits and crowd anthems alongside whatever your specific guest list responds to. Playlists and request lists are welcome; do-not-play lists are too.
Will the day feel personal — not packaged? +
That's the whole reason Ian works alone. Because he's singer, DJ and host in one person rather than three suppliers stitched together, the tone stays consistent from ceremony to last dance. The run-sheet is built around your couple, your guest list and your venue — not a template.
